We did. in today's article, applications for digital signature of documents available for Android and iOS, free of charge.

It is quite simple nowadays to digitally sign documents using applications.

It is no longer necessary to scan or print a document to sign it, and everything can be done digitally.

Adobe Acrobat Reader

As the first app, we have Adobe Acrobat Reader, which presents the Portuguese language and the user can log in through Facebook, Gmail and Apple, with an account linked to an Adobe ID.

After registering, to sign a document, follow the steps below:

  • Go to the “Fill and Sign” option on the home screen;
  • Select a file to be signed.
  • When signing, you can use a virtual pen or insert a signature image from the gallery;
  • After signing the document, you can share it on other platforms and via email.
  • It is still possible to save the signed document in the cell phone gallery or in the cloud.

The application only accepts documents in PDF format.

Every user's digital signature made through the app is stored in Adobe Reader and is available to be used in later documents.

The Adobe Acrobat Reader application can be found at android and iS.

As a second application, we brought Microsoft 365 (Office), which has a section for digitally signing documents, free of charge.

Check out the steps to sign your document through the app:

  • Then, go to the “Actions” option, which is in the lower menu;

The application, like the previous one, only accepts the signature of documents in PDF format.

docusign

The last app, called DocuSign, allows the user to digitally sign documents after logging into the app with email and password.

Through the app, you can open documents in PDF or image format, uploading them from the gallery or from other apps, such as Google Drive.

The app also allows the user to scan printed documents using the camera.

To sign a document, go to the “Sign Now” option, managing to use the virtual pen.
